Know all men by these presents
that we Robert Green, T. F. Risk ^ by his friends ^ & [?]
Dent and held & firmly bound unto
the State of Missouri in the amount
of two hundred dollars ^each^ for the pay
ment of which we bind our ^selves^ heirs exec
utors administrators & assigns —
Provided however that as long as the
said Robert Green has this day obtained
a license from the county court of St Louis
State of Missouri under an act entitled an
act the more effectually to prevent free
persons of Colour from entering the State of
Missouri & other purposes approved Feb—
23rd, 1843 - to reside in the limits
of the state of Missouri as long as his
behavior is good ~~these~~ then this bond to
be null & void otherwise to remain in
full force & effect
