Know all men by their presents that Mary
Ann Steel as principal and Benjamin B
Brown as security are held and firmly bound
unto the State of Missouri in the final sum
of two hundred Dollars for the payment
of which well and truly to be made we
bind ourselves our heirs executors and
administrators firmly by their presents signed
with our hands and sealed with our seals
respectively this first day of May AD 1843.
Now the condition of this bond is such
that wheras the above bounded Mary
Ann Steel hath this day been bounded
by the County Court Missouri Court of
the County of Saint Louis and State of Missouri
to reside and remain in the State of Missouri
according to the statute in such can made
and provided have if the above bounded
Mary Ann Steel shall be of good behavior
and of peaceable and ordily beh. conduct
during her residence in said state
this bond to be void otherwise to remain
in full force.
