Know all men by these presents that we Ellen Butler
as principal and George Wilson+
Louis DuBrasil as securities are held and firmly
bound unto the state of Missouri in the just sum
of one thousand Dollars, for the payment of which
sum well and truly to be made we bindourselves, our heirs
and legal representatives, sealed with our seals and
dated at St. Louis this 5 day of December AD 1846
The Condition of the above obligation is such that
whereas the County Court of the County of St Louis
did on the 8th day of December AD 1846 Grant to
the said Ellen____ a licence to reside in
the state of Missouri. Now if the said Ellen Butler
shall be of good behavior then this bond to be void
otherwise to remain in full force
