Know all men by these presents that we Shepard
Smith principal and Isaac A Letcher and Saml T
McCullough his securities are held and firmly bound
unto the state of Missouri in the sum of two hundred
Dollars each for the prompt payment of which we
bind ourselves Our heirs executors & administrators
firmly by these presents sealed with our seals & dated
this 8th day of November 1845

The condition of the above obligation is such that
whereas the said Shepard has this day been Licensed
to reside in the state of Missouri during good behavior
Now if the said Smith shall during his residence in
the state of Missouri conduct himself lawfully and be
of good Character & behavior then the above obliga-
tion to be void else of full force & virtue.
