Know all men by these presents that we George W. Piper
as principal + Willis L. Williamson as Security, are held
+ firmly bound unto the State of Missouri, in the penal sum
of Two hundred dollars, well + firmly to be paid, we bind
ourselves + each of us, our heirs, executors + administrators_
. The condition of the above obligation in this_ that whereas the
County Court of the Count of Saint Louis County, State aforesaid,
have this day granted unto the said George W. Piper a License
with the provision of the act of the Legislature of said state,
approved 23 February A.D. 1843_ Now if the said George W. Piper
shall be of good behavior, according to the [ ?]+ meaning of
the Legislature aforesaid, then this obligation to be null
+ void, otherwise to remain in full force +virtue_
