# Free Negro Bond for Whitesides

Know all men by these presence that we
Sharlott Whitesides as principal andSamuel
Wili as security are held and firmly bound
unto the State of Missouri in the sum
of two hundred Dollars each that is to say
that the said Sharlott as principal
in the sum of tow hundred dollars and the said
security in te sum of tow hundred dollars
for the true payment of which sums well and
truly to be made the said Sharlott as principal
and the said Samuel Willi as security hereby bind
themselfs their heirs exexutors and adminsitrators
firmly by these presents with their seals and
dated thisfourth day of May A.D 1843
Now the condition of this bond is such
that whereas the county court of St. Louis County
hath granted a license to the above bounden
Sharlott as licinse to reside and remain in the
State of Missouri acording to the statute
in such case made and provided Now if
said Sharlott be of Good behavior while
She remains n the State then this bond
to be void otherwise to remain in full
force
