Know all men by these presents that we Margaret
Lewis as principal and Absalom Boyd as security
are held and firmly bound unto the state of Missouri--
In the sum of two hundred dollars each that is to
say the said Margaret Lewis as pricipal in the sum
of two hundred dollars and the said Absalom Boyd
as security on the sum of two hundred dollars for the
true payment of which sum well & truly to be made
Margaret Boyd Lewis as principal & the said Absalom Lewis Boyd
as security whereby they Bind themselves their heirs
executors & administrators firmly by these presents
sealed with their seals and date this fourth day of May
in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred & forty three
Now the Condition of this Obligation is such that
whereas the County Court for St. Louis County hath granted
to the above bounder Margaret Lewis a License to reside
& remain in the State of Missouri according to the
statutes and such cases made + provided
Now if said Margaret Lewis shall be of good behavour
while he remains in said state then this Bond to be void otherwise to remain in full force & virtue
