Know all men by these presents
that we Louisa Robinson and Archibald
Gamble of S Louis County are held and
firmly bound unto the State of Missouri
in the sum of four hundred dollars that
is to say the said Louisa Robinson in the
sum of two hundred dollars and the said
Archibald Gamble in the sum of two hundred
dollars. The condition of the above
obligation is such that whereas the above
named Louisa Robinson a woman of color
has this day obtained from the County Court
of the County of S Louis a license to reside
in the State of Missouri. Now if the
said Louisa condition of this Bond is
that of the said Louisa Robinson shall
be of good behavior then this obligation
to be void else to remain in full
force and virtue

Given under our hands & seals
at S Louis this 2nd day of May 1843
