Third Judicial Circuit
County of St Louis sct John Boty plantiff states that he holds a bond
on the defendants Charles. P. Walker William McGutchen & Samuel
Black in substance as followeth
\$100. Twelve months after date we or either of us promise to pay
unto John Bowli the sum of one hundred dollars it beeing for value
received of him given under our hands and seals this fifteenth day
of February 1832

prays judgment for his debt and damages for the detention of the

We command you to summon Charles P Walker William
McCutchen and Samuel Black that they be and appear before the Judge
of Our Circuit Court on the second day of the next term thereof to be
held at the city of St Louis within and for the County of Saint Louis
on the fourth monday of July instant then and there to answer unto the above demand of John Boly as
set forth in his petition of which the above is a copy and have
you then there this writ
