Henry , [illegible] Manuel Lisa - Poke Choahau, william Clark, [illegible] August P. [illegible] Choahau Louis, who with with -> miss Benjamin [illegible] Walker
for [illegible] deceased lovely compond the [illegible] Saint Louis [illegible] Missouri Fur
company complains of [illegible] Jaemia Conna in a plea that
he [illegible] know to him [illegible] for the me of the [illegible] Jai's Saint Louis [illegible] Missouri Fur Company the [illegible] sum of Eighty dollars [illegible] Eighty two
cents. [illegible] money of the United States which to him
he [illegible] owes from him [illegible] aclaims for that
the said[illegible] at the [illegible] town and [illegible] district of [illegible] Saint
Louis on the thirty first day of July, on the year one
thousand eight hundred nine by his certain [illegible] invite
obligating of that date, [illegible] with his [illegible] and to
the [illegible] Court now th[illegible] and [illegible] to the pl[illegible] aintiff then and
there achieved, [illegible] promised him by the [illegible] name of William
Cla[illegible] rks agent for the [illegible] Missouri Fur Company to pay
to him a [illegible] Sixty days after the date of said
[illegible] the [illegible] sum of Eighty dollars [illegible] eighty [illegible] two cents for value received
[illegible] For the said Defendant although often
[illegible] required hath over [illegible] refused the same [illegible] sum of
[illegible] moving to the [illegible] plaintiff to pay and the same [illegible] doth aclaim to the damage of the plaintiff who [illegible] sues as
[illegible] wit the [illegible] sum of one Hundred & fifty dollars
