GREETING:

You are hereby commanded, that setting aside all manner of excuse and delay, you appear be-

fore our Circuit Court for the county aforesaid, on the 21st day of

December 1849 at the City of St. Louis, then and there to

testify, and the truth to say in ~~a~~

wherein Dred Scott is Plff in one and Harriet of color in other

plaintiff and
Irene Emerson
