Know all men by these presents that, We, C. Edmund LaBeaume as principal and Louis T. LaBeaume as security are firmly held and bound unto the state of Missouri in the sum of six hundred dollars, to the payment whereof well and truly to be made we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators jointly and severally firmly by these presents. Sealed with our seals and dated at St Louis the 26th day of April 1852.

Now, therefore, if the said C. Edmund LaBeaume Shall pay the hire of the said Harriette at the rate of four dollars per month to the said Sheriff to be paid monthly from the 26th day of April 1852 and shall not remove the said Harriette out of the jurisdiction of the said St. Louis Circuit Court and shall return the said Harriette at the expiration of twelve months from said 26th — day of April 1852 or at the termination of said suit, — then this obligation to be null and void, else in full force and effect
