- Title
- Richmond Heights-St. Louis
- Creator
- Zhang, Letao
- Date
- 2014
- Description
- Book can be unfolded to present an almost-continuous black-and-white street map of the area between Richmond Heights, an inner-ring suburb, and downtown St. Louis. This map is enlarged and distorted so that its lines appear almost abstract. Some map panels can be folded back to reveal more detailed aerial views with a single building marked in red. This building is then rendered in a pen-and-ink-wash drawing printed on two layers of stiff paper, with cut-outs to give a three-dimensional appearance.
